Information About KPK Police
The KPK police department was first established in 1861. The British province of NWFP in the police act of 1861. The department came under the provincial government of Pakistan. After independence from 1947 to 2000, not much changed in training. Except a uniform and some minor changes. The incident of 11th September 2001, Pakistan became part of the war on terror. And the KPK province was at the forefront of the war. The government decided to reform the police. New weapons introduced and the training improved.
